He has held various positions such as Managing Director for an Engineering consulting firm, Head of Engineering Consulting Business Unit, CEO of Engineering Consulting firm, Head of Engineering, Head of Piping & Pipeline Engineering Department, Project Manager, Project Engineering Manager, Lead Engineer - Piping & Pipeline Discipline, Piping & Pipeline Stress Engineer (Static & Dynamic), Piping & Mechanical Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Materials Engineer, Construction supervisor, Etc.

In 2015 he founded this company Focus Projects & Consultants with a vision to provide Piping & Pipeline Engineering Consultancy services for EPC, Manufacturing & Larger Consulting firms who operate in almost all industry sectors.
Prior to that since Dec 2013 to Dec 2014 he worked as Head of Piping & Pipeline Engineering Discipline for Dodsal Engineering & Construction Pte. Ltd., Dubai, UAE.

Prior to that since May 2008 till Nov 20013 he founded and operated Trent Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, INDIA for providing engineering consultancy in all engineering disciplines. Prior to that since June in 2004 he founded VP Engineering Consultancy Services Chennai, INDIA for providing engineering consultancy predominantly in the Piping and Pipeline discipline which was taken over by BGR Energy Ltd (Formerly GEA Energy Systems (India) Ltd), Chennai INDIA in the year 2006 and he worked as Head of Piping Engineering Division.

Earlier to that he had held Project Manager positions in Zuhair Fayez Partnership Consultants in Jeddah, KSA (to execute projects for Saudi Aramco), Deutsche Babcock IDEA Pvt Ltd., Chennai INDIA and in Madras Fertilizers Ltd Chennai, INDIA.

Prior to that, he had held various Technical positions in Fichtner Consulting Engineers (India) Pvt Ltd, Jurong Engineering Ltd., Singapore, Deutsche Babcock IDEA and Enmas Engineering Enterprises, Chennai INDIA. His capabilities include Company Management, Business Development, Project Management, Engineering Management, Quality Systems Development, providing Training, Lead Engineer roles in Piping & Pipeline and Mechanical Departments, Design and Detailed engineering roles in Piping & Pipeline and Mechanical Departments and finally Site Coordination and trouble shooting.

He travelled to countries like UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, Switzerland, UAE, Indonesia, France and Netherlands for attending international conferences, Business Development, Project Execution, employment and for providing Technical Training. He received his 1st class bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore, INDIA in 1988.
